Found someone new

Hi All,

It's been way too long since I've posted here. Been on vacation to Alaska and blogged about that awesome experience. If you'd like to read and look at pics of that trip, check this out.

Now on to who I just found -- Sue Morgan is a quilter so hopefully she'll start to post here with her beautiful quilts.

While I was in Alaska, I was "allowed" to visit one quilt shop and WOW, what a quilt shop I chose -- Northern Threads. It was so VERY Alaskan. I thoroughly enjoyed it. She had so many kits available and I was able to see the finished kits so it was much easier to make up my mind (well, maybe not so easy since I spent more time there than what Bill had in mind :-).

So the rest of you out there. What are you doing with your quilting. SHARE with me.

Talk to you later.

Lost weekend

I didn't get to quilt at all this weekend. Instead I went roller skating at our oldest granddaughter's birthday party. Exercise is good, I kept telling myself.

Then Sunday came and I hosted our family birthday party for Winter and then it was time for STEELER football.

Hope to get back into quilting this week. I have a 2nd heart table runner started for Andrea that I need to do the quilting and then the binding.

What are you all working on?

Have a lot of T-Shirts -- make a T-Shirt Quilt

Here's a picture of a T-Shirt quilt that Linda Z and I made. Linda went to a quilting class to learn the steps. Then I sandwiched it together and added the binding. It was a great way to preserve my daughter's T-shirts she received in her different marathons.
