Linda has been quilting

Take a look at these. They look great, Lin. Something tells me though that Linda will be trading the sewing machine for a paint brush as she helps Kiley paint some rooms in the house she just purchased.

I hope that I'll have some time this weekend to work on the bargello quilt that Mary Jo and I are learning about from a Stitch Your Art Out quilt class. Will post some pics as I go.

Michelle from Michigan State commented that she's been busy with costumes and has invited us out to Michigan for a quilting weekend. Not sure that's in the cards for me til later this year but it sure sounds like fun. Michelle, I've added you as a contributor if you want or have the time. I'd enjoy seeing the costumes you create. I hear about them from Elise.

As much as I don't want to, I need to get some work done. Talk to you all later.

Lost weekend

I didn't get to quilt at all this weekend. Instead I went roller skating at our oldest granddaughter's birthday party. Exercise is good, I kept telling myself.

Then Sunday came and I hosted our family birthday party for Winter and then it was time for STEELER football.

Hope to get back into quilting this week. I have a 2nd heart table runner started for Andrea that I need to do the quilting and then the binding.
