Heart Table Runner - finished

Here's the heart table runner finished. Working on one more. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough of the background fabric for the 2nd one so I had to buy more at JoAnn's. The fabric definitely isn't the quality of the one I purchased at the quilt store in Centre Hall but I think it looks ok. The feel just isn't the same. Anyone else agree with that?

Does anyone NOT purchase fabric unless it's from a quilt store? Well, that's it for now. Have to go to work.

Have a lot of T-Shirts -- make a T-Shirt Quilt

Here's a picture of a T-Shirt quilt that Linda Z and I made. Linda went to a quilting class to learn the steps. Then I sandwiched it together and added the binding. It was a great way to preserve my daughter's T-shirts she received in her different marathons.

Welcome Cooperative Extension Quilters

I know there are lots of us thread pushers and fabric lovers out there. Let's get together and share our accomplishments, ideas, frustrations, and questions. We can also upload pictures of quilts we're working on.

I'll start with the Valentine's Day tablerunner I'm working on. It's either for Andrea (Bill's daughter) or Kristen (my daughter). It's a LONG runner so I'm not sure which daughter has enough room for it. I'm running into difficulty finding a heart quilt template to use. State College isn't the best place to find these types of tools. I know that I could probably find it at Mifflinburg (Verna's Fabrics) but I don't have time to run down there. Maybe Mary Jo will if she has an office visit in Union County .... hmmm, MJ, that's a HINT!!
